Our Mission Statement
Mohave county has the largest percentage of veterans making up its population in Ariz. These individuals deserve to have a place to share their stories with the public. Second, is the enormous contribution that Kingman Army Airfield as well as its outlying Yucca Sub base
played in WWII. Thirty-two thousand gunners were trained here and what they did here
needs to be preserved and shared. Lastly, we need a place to remember the greatest
generation. For many of us we had parents or grandparents that were part of it. This was a time when Americans set aside differences and pulled together for the greater good of the world. This group of individuals deserve to be immortalized and their stories preserved and shared with our youth, so they are never forgotten.

01
Collecting the Artifacts
Tom Saluzzo has been collecting military artifacts for over a decade in order to keep the memories and stories of the soldiers that served their country alive. Also, he has amassed a collection of over 2000 books covering subjects from the American Revolution thru modern conflicts, which will be the heart of the research library.
02
Displays for the Community
For nearly half a decade Tom has been; writing for the Standard, doing presentations and putting on community displays of military and history. All of these things have been a precursor to building this museum.

03
Getting the Beech UC-45 Aircraft to Kingman Ariz.
With the help of a great group of community members the Beech UC-45 is in Kingman and is going through its repair. When all finished it will be back to its original 1960's U.S. Navy paint job and configuration. This will include the cockpit, which people will be able to view and see. Keep checking back on the UC-45J page on the website for more updates and to follow our progress.
04
Raising Money to Build a Building
This is the step we are on now! We have closed on land on the corner of Butler and Van Nuys. The museum needs help from the tri-state community in order to bring this museum to life. All contributions will go to buying a building in order to keep the stories alive!

Opening the Museum
